For at the end of your strength you’ll find the birth of faith, awakening to the newness of awe. And it’s the greatest place to be, when you’re at the brink of everything you see.  And by surrendering it all, He repositions what will be.

  Release yourself from the burden of worry and why, for this simplicity of rest IS the life believers live by.. But if you cannot surrender yourself and the thoughts you think, faith becomes flesh and worry your god.

Have you ever tried so hard to make something happen, to do all you can to make sure it all goes right, only to watch it fall apart and dissolve it to nothing? Then you may be a Christian, because it seems the number one thing God needs to show us is how futile our efforts are and how silly our plans can be without Him being the lead.
But who really wants all that pressure anyway? It is hard to be God, and whenever you get tired of the job He’s there waiting for you. Allowing us to govern however we choose, waiting patiently for us until we’ve had enough. The best place to be is the very end of your own strength, the very point when we realize we can no longer do it on our own. “You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19)  Just simply believing it doesn’t always mean He’s going to have an active roll in your everyday life. But when you truly come to the end of yourself and let it all go He’s there to  pick up the pieces. The God of love will not dominate you or tell you what to do. But when you put your trust in Him, He will put his life in you, and begin growing something you could never imagine.
