Bring Your Idea to Life With a Custom Oil Painting

Creating a commission piece is about more than just making the art. I believe expressing myself through service is just as important as the creative work itself. There is a sense of joy in being able to share a successful project with my clients, helping them feel that sense of inspiration that is really amazing.

My process is simple:
1. We start by looking at your photo and ideas, as we begin discussing the direction of the project. (If additional photos are needed, we’ll discuss it then.)
2. Once the first installment is made, I begin drawing examples or creating mockups of the project. This helps us both understand what the work will look like before I begin to paint. It also gives us a chance to talk about any changes that need to be made if there are any.
3. After the painting is dry, we’ll add varnish for protection, add hanging wire to the back, wrap it for transportation, and make arrangements to get the work to you after the final installment is made.
