The idea that started as an art style began moving into an outlook on life and the world around me. No one could tell the difference, but my thinking started to change. I began to change what I daydreamed about and what I wanted life to look like. I fought against my Christian upbringing but Jesus started to get my attention. That year I came to accept Jesus as Christ and the Bible as absolute truth. I was never convinced of it or proven wrong with smooth arguments or seeing miracles. My faith was sparked by the way he answered people. As a creative person, I know how difficult it would be to answer questions with such creative insight as he did. I’m convinced it would have taken a team of writers a long time to to come up with the answers he gave. Time spent on a good amount of brainstorming as well. But he did it effortlessly, without thought, and there’s only one reason he could have been able to pull that off. So needless to say, when I read the Bible for myself I could tell he held the words of life, which was impressive and difficult to ignore.
When God got a hold of my artwork I started to see how everything is connected. When he got a hold of me, I started to see how much I needed change, and the desire to have it only got stronger. So this marked the beginning of a long haul of change that I was oblivious to at the time. I was now on a train ride that took much longer than I expected it would. Is there anything in life that doesn’t take longer than we expect? I’m pretty sure others can relate.
This art style head definitely forged and molded itself into a philosophy that I couldn’t get off my mind. I started holding myself accountable to it and practicing it, as I didn’t have male role models or mentors that I could rely on. Ones that are very important in helping young men weed through their spiritual journey. I struggled and would wonder if I was crazy at times. If this idea was something that really was from God or not. But struggles help us develop, they can be blessings in disguise, and God gave me a way to grow my faith in a very unique way. And if there’s anything I need to do before I leave this world it is to pass on what I’ve learned.
As a kid I was always curious to know the truth and the answers to things. I would constantly bother my mom and dad with the question of why. After all these years, all the change, study, growth, and many challenges, I know that what I found is legitimate, because it’s based on scripture, which is truth. It is based on what is unmovable and certain, like math. It is spiritual mathematics, a simplified way to help anyone understand absolute truth with perfect certainty. Math is a universal language that everyone on Earth understands. Likewise, there are things of God that are universal, unmovable, and easy to understand in the exact same way. Just as shapes and colors are required for us to see objects, absolute truth is required to discern knowledge. And there is no higher knowledge than the Kingdom of God.
I started this blog as a way to share this philosophy I call The Everything, an abstract way of seeing the Kingdom of Heaven. It is an idea that has helped me grow and stay focused when so many crazy things were being thrown at my life. It is something God has given me that has enabled me to find an unlimited source of inspiration, allowing me to become the person I am today. For many years I carried these ideas around until I began writing them down. After all this time I finally feel ready to share it with the world and want to challenge myself to keep improving ways to do that. People need a way that allows them to understand the power that is able to overcome the hurdles in their lives in a way that is easy to understand. A way that helps others have peace, inspiration, and rest that continues on throughout the week regardless of what happens.
