The Everything is a creative philosophy. It is a way of seeing life and the world around you through the eyes of eternity. Where everything is bare and plain to see, where the love of truth lives next to the desire to be free. Where the questions get answered and problems are stripped away.
So many things in life don’t make sense…so many things about God seem difficult to understand. We live our lives going in a straight line, a one track calculation, moment by moment, and one day at a time. We see things from this point of view and base everything in life around this linear frame of mind. What so many don’t realize is that the kingdom of God is non-linear. We usually think of everything as being in a straight line, but to the kingdom of God, it is one giant circle.
To God, everything in life is together in one single space. From beginning to end, He sees your life outside the limitations of time. He sees your life, death, problems, and pains. They are all gathered together in a moment, in one single frame. Living in a place that holds every emotion you can feel, every good thing you can remember, and even the tragedy you try to heal. Everything is laid out as one single day, one eternal everlasting moment in space.
When I was younger these ideas began to change my life, and it was so difficult to articulate all these thoughts floating around inside my head. For me, all this is what has become the artistic fuel to my creative fire. A source I’m grateful that never runs dry. Sometimes it’s better to show others what you are trying to say. By making some kind of art rather than explain non-linear things in a linear sort of way.
One of the most basic ideas is realizing that everything in life comes in 3’s, and have been the building blocks of this creative philosophy. Here are a few examples of what I mean:
Design, Direction, and Formula
Electron, Neutron, and Proton
Absolute Power, Absolute Truth, and Absolute Love
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” –Colossians 1:15-18
I have spent a long time sorting through this and finding a way to explain what is the source of unlimited inspiration. At the very least, it has become a way for right brain thinkers to better understand the Kingdom from a creative point of view.
I’ve built this website as step toward bringing that inspiration to others. But there is still so much more work to do. There are so many out there who need to feel something more, to do work that helps them feel alive, and they may not know how or even why. I want to inspire you with something that takes you beyond the daily issues in life. This philosophy should be presented in a creative way to help us transcend the problems that we all face. Whether it’s large or small, whether or not you even believe at all. It’s important that people at least have the chance to see the Kingdom in a non-linear way, a way that might change their life.
